Initially, we focused on card usage analysis, but with the implementation of the PSD2 directive starting in 2019, we expanded our activities to include monitoring of online transactions as well. With the introduction of the instant payment system in Hungary — a project in which Capsys played a key role — the complexity of fraud prevention significantly increased, as fraud attempts no longer remained limited to individual channels but appeared across multiple channels, while the intensity of fraudulent activities also escalated. Today, fraud prevention systems have become the banks’ most critical solutions, requiring 24/7 operation with immediate response times, making all decisions in real-time based on large volumes of data.

Additionally, we have developed numerous standalone, easily implementable supplementary components and business modules that integrate with the PRM system, helping our clients increase efficiency and simplify their operations daily. One proof of this is that the fraud prevention systems developed, implemented, and supported by Capsys currently cover approximately 80% of the Hungarian market.
