Between 2009 and 2016, Capsys played a key role in the implementation of a new Treasury system for a major domestic bank. Initially, Capsys supported the bank as a consultant during the tender phase. Following the selection process, the bank chose the Calypso system as its treasury solution and appointed Capsys as the implementation partner. We were closely involved in both the gap analysis and the implementation phases. Subsequently, we took over additional project-related tasks, with particular focus on integration and customization.
At the bank, Calypso is primarily used as a back-office and accounting system, interfacing with approximately 40 internal front-office and support systems.
Since the system’s go-live in 2016, Capsys has provided ongoing support for the Calypso system, delivering tailored development solutions and managing version upgrades. Additionally, Capsys has participated in system rollouts at the bank’s subsidiaries.
Thanks to the outstanding success of this project, Capsys established a long-term partnership with Adenza and became one of the first NASDAQ Certified Implementation Partners in 2023, following NASDAQ’s acquisition of the Calypso and Axiom SL products.
Building on this proven expertise, Capsys was granted the opportunity in 2017 to implement the Calypso system at a major Romanian bank, aiming to modernize its treasury and trading activities. Throughout the project, the Capsys team worked closely with the bank’s internal experts to develop bespoke solutions tailored to the institution’s needs. The implementation included customizing the core Calypso system, integrating it with the bank’s existing infrastructure, and adapting it to comply with local financial regulations.
After the successful project completion, Capsys has continued to actively support the system since 2018, ensuring its continuous operation and smooth functioning. We also provide development solutions aligned with the bank’s evolving business requirements, alongside regular version upgrades to keep Calypso up to date and compliant with the latest market standards.
Over the past 15 years, Capsys has participated in numerous treasury and trading projects, independently delivering IT solutions based on business requirements, providing end-to-end support for system implementation projects, and managing version upgrades.
